My work begins with moments I want to preserve\u2014small, attentive connections with the world. At times, I let colour lead, allowing the work to discover what it wants to become.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I work primarily with oil paints, coloured pencils, and pastels. Nature anchors the practice, with cats and florals as familiar presences in recent work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-social-links is-layout-flex wp-block-social-links-is-layout-flex\"><li
