Megha Goyal

Drawing Bengaluru, Blr Hubba 2026

About the Artist

Hi!! I’m Megha Goyal, an illustrator and visual designer with a lifelong relationship with art. A chance encounter with urban sketching in Mumbai a few years ago shaped a quiet, lasting love for observing cities through drawing.

North Indian by birth and South Indian by heart, Hyderabad – the city of Charminar – remains home, while Bangalore was home for the past two years, seen through the gentle lens of my sketchbook. I began my journey in IT but chose to leave it behind to pursue design and art, and never looked back – because that is what truly felt like home.

Cubbon Park has always felt like the city’s lungs, a place where Bengaluru gathers itself before the day begins. This sketch captures that unhurried morning energy: people sitting under the massive rain trees, sharing stories, or simply soaking in the calm. I wanted to bring out the feeling of community and pause, the way light filters through green canopies and conversations drift through the air. It’s not just a park, it’s where the city exhales.
