About the Artist
Kodhai is a counselling psychologist and a self-taught watercolour artist from Bangalore. She is currently working at St Joseph’s University as an assistant professor. She loves painting the simple, mundane and often unnoticed things around her. Small postcards and sketchbooks are where her creativity blooms the most. She loves her cozy corner at home and she believes she can do a lot just from there.

BMTC buses hold a special place in my heart, I’ve travelled in one everyday throughout my undergraduate college days. I didn’t know how to read kannada at that time and I learnt my first letter ‘ಕ’ while looking out for KR Market buses. Although chaotic, with often no space to sit, these journeys were my time for self-reflection and processing all the emotions of the day.
