This is definitely the most recognisable bird of Bengaluru, after the house crow, of course. This cute little bird is very commonly found in Bengaluru, as they’ve managed to thrive even in this “urban jungle” habitat. Rare birds tend to demand attention, but this bird does it while being very common, all thanks to its rosy cheeks, sweet whistles, and proud crest!.
