About the Artist
Manojna Bellur is a creative polymath working in various fields from entertainment and transportation design, visual effects and film-making. Previously, he’s worked as visual effects art director for a Kannada indie sci-fi movie called Mandala. He’s really passionate about movies, music and art. In his spare time can be seen appreciating nature and reading Douglas Adams.

This was sketch done in one of the Pencil Jam sessions in Bengaluru in 2025 and is the main doorway of the Bengaluru fort t for Elephants to march in. I was really moved by the ornate detail in the stonework and the sheer size of the entrance. One is almost transported back in time and can almost imagine the rich history surrounding the city from its genesis to today.
